How can a Legal Entity Verify its Account?
TokenSpot allows legal entities to sign up on its Platform and verify their accounts to unlock all of the Platform’s features. The verification process consists of three steps.
STEP 1
Sign up on the Platform (See Creating an Account) and add a phone number to your account (See Linking a Phone Number). We also recommend enabling two-factor authentication for your account to verify your transactions on the Platform in a fast and secure way using one-time verification codes generated by Google Authenticator (See Enabling Google Authenticator).
STEP 2
You will need to provide the following documents for your company:
- Ownership structure chart (List of beneficiaries): List stakeholders who own more than 25 percent of the company.

- Memorandum of association / Articles of association
- Letter of authorization to do business with TokenSpot (Authorized persons: Company CEO and/or Founders). You may also specify an attorney-in-fact authorized by a notarized power of attorney (PoA).

- For financial institutions and non-financial organizations (VASP): Fill out the form and present a copy of your company license.

Send an email with all of your documents attached to our Compliance team at [email protected], stating your company’s legal name in English and line of business. Please be advised that we will only accept documents, requests and account-related queries sent from an email address linked to our customer’s TokenSpot account.
Please note that each document must be signed by the company’s CEO and sealed with the company seal, and attached to your email as a separate file (Max. file size: 50 MB). Don’t leave blank fields in documents (You can delete unused fields or cross them out).
Document requirements:
- Documents specified in Items 1,2,4,6 must be signed by the Company CEO and sealed with the company seal.
- Each document must be attached to your email as a separate file (Max. file size: 50 MB).
- Delete unfilled fields, or fill them in with dashes.
- Each document should be attached as a separate PDF file to make it faster to check.
* If your company’s beneficiary is a legal entity, you will need to provide similar documents for that entity (STEP 2, Items 1,2,3,5).
STEP 3
We will respond by emailing you further instructions for verifying a corporate user account. Please note that we may request additional documents or information as part of verifying your submission. Once all checks are completed, your verification will be approved. You will see the Account Successfully Verified status displayed in the Verification box on your Profile page.
