How to top up via Wire Transfer with T-Bank?
1. General Information
How can I top up my account using T-Bank?
You can top up your TokenSpot wallet with Rubles using the T-Bank app. Go to ‘Payments → Wire Transfer to Phone Number’ and enter the phone number linked to your TokenSpot account. Funds will be credited automatically as soon as the bank approves the transaction.
What Currency Can I Top up with?
T-Bank supports wire transfers made in RUB only.
Who Can Use This Option?
This option is available to individual users who match the following criteria:
- Phone number must start with +7 or +996, and be verified on TokenSpot.
- Phone number must match the phone number registered with T-Bank.
- User’s full name must be provided correctly.
This option is not available to legal entities and Individual Entrepreneurs.
Making a Wire Transfer
- Open your T-Bank app
- Go to Payments → Wire Transfer to Phone Number
- Enter the phone number linked to your TokenSpot account
- Choose TokenSpot from the Beneficiaries menu
2. User Authentication
Do my name and phone number registered with T-Bank have to match the name and phone number linked on TokenSpot?
Both T-Bank and TokenSpot follow mandatory user authentication procedures. A wire transfer can only be made if the user’s full name and phone number match precisely between the two platforms.
Can I change my phone number linked on TokenSpot to one registered with T-Bank?
Yes, you can. If the phone number linked to your TokenSpot account isn’t registered with T-Bank, you can link a different phone number by contacting our Customer Service. Once you link a phone number that is registered with T-Bank, you will be able to top up via wire transfer.
Why Do I Get the ‘Beneficiary Not Found’ Error Message?
This error is reported if the name or phone number provided for the wire transfer do not match those linked to your TokenSpot account. You will need to check your user data on TokenSpot and update them by contacting Customer Support if necessary.
Why Doesn’t It Work with My Phone Number?
Wire transfer is only available to phone numbers based in the Russian Federation (+7) or the Kyrgyz Republic (+996). Phone numbers with other country codes are not supported.
3. Limits and Fees
What Are the Deposit Limits?
- Minimum Deposit Amount: 10 RUB;
- Maximum Deposit Amount: 1,000,000 RUB.
What is the Deposit Fee?
The fee is 1.5%.
What If My Transfer Amount Doesn’t Match the Limit?
Your wire transfer will be declined by either TokenSpot or T-Bank. You will have to change the transfer amount and try again.
4. Processing the Transfer. Transfer Status
How Long until the Funds Are Credited?
Funds are credited automatically as soon as the bank approves the transaction. In most cases, it happens instantly.
Transfer Status: ‘Submitted’
The system has registered your wire transfer request. TokenSpot has been notified by T-Bank, and is currently processing this transaction. Once verification is completed, the transfer status will change automatically.
Transfer Status: ‘Completed’
Wire transfer completed successfully, the relevant ruble amount has been credited to your TokenSpot wallet and is now available for spending.
Transfer Status: ‘Cancelled’
Your wire transfer was declined, no money deposited to your TokenSpot wallet.
Possible reasons:
- Your full name / phone number do not match between T-Bank and TokenSpot.
- Your wire transfer amount does not match the limit.
- The bank rejected the transaction.
- A technical error on the banking platform’s side.
My Banking App Says the Wire Transfer Was Successful, But the Money Wasn’t Credited to My TokenSpot Account
- Go to Deposit History on TokenSpot.
- See if your wire transfer is listed there, and what its Deposit Status is:
- Completed: The money has been credited to your account.
- Submitted: The transaction is being processed. It will be completed automatically once the banking platform confirms it.
- Cancelled: Your wire transfer has been declined. The money was not credited to your account, and must not be charged from your T-Bank account.
- If your wire transfer is not listed in Deposit History, or is listed as ‘Submitted’ for too long, contact TokenSpot’s Customer Support citing the transfer date, time and amount.
5. Data and Security Requirements
Are Wire Transfers via T-Bank Well Secured?
Data are transferred between platforms using secure communication channels and digital signatures. All transactions are rigorously authenticated. TokenSpot does not receive or store any personal data other than those required for making the transaction.
6. Possible Issues
My Banking App Says the Wire Transfer Has Been Completed, But It Is Not Listed in Deposit History on TokenSpot
Contact TokenSpot’s Customer Support citing the transfer date and amount.
Can I Top up Another User’s TokenSpot Wallet?
No, you cannot. You can only transfer money to a TokenSpot account linked to your phone number registered with the bank. Wire transfers to third parties are not supported.
